Privacy policy.
Legacy Marketplace is run by Legacy Events Group Limited, which is responsible for your personal data. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 11244225, at Wheelhouse, Angel Court, 81 St Clement's Street, Oxford OX4 1AW.
What we collect.
Your name and email when you create an account, and your delivery and billing details when you order. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name and email from them. We also keep what you tell us about your event, your shortlists and basket, and your messages to our concierge. Suppliers also give us their business details.
Why we use it.
To run your account, take and deliver your orders, answer your concierge requests and keep the site secure. We do this because we need to in order to provide the service you asked for, or because the law requires it, for example keeping order records for tax. We only send you marketing if you have agreed to it, and every marketing email lets you unsubscribe.
Who else sees it.
The supplier who fulfils your order receives what they need to deliver it. Stripe takes your payment; we never see your card number. Supabase stores our data in London. We send email through a mail service and host the site with a web host, each of whom handles data only on our instructions. We do not sell your data.
Cookies.
We set one cookie, which remembers whether you see prices with or without VAT. Your browser also stores your sign-in and your event brief so you do not lose them between visits. We use no advertising or analytics cookies. Our intro video is hosted on YouTube. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play, and then its own privacy policy applies.
How long we keep it.
For as long as your account is open. Order and payment records are kept for 6 years, as UK tax law requires. Ask us to close your account and we delete the rest.
Your rights.
You can ask to see, correct, move or delete the data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Email hello@legacy-events.com. It is free, and we will reply within a month. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
