Cancellation Policy
You have a legal right to cancel because of something we have done wrong that is deemed irreparable. We would like the opportunity to remedy a fault and you will provide us will such an opportunity. However, if the fault cannot be remedied, you will be entitled to a refund and you may be entitled to compensation.

We are not responsible for circumstances outside our control. If our ability to provide the service you expected is hindered by an event outside our control, we will contact you as soon as possible to let you know and we will take steps to minimise the effect. Provided we do this, we will not be liable for the effect caused by such circumstances.

Where the venue is forced to close, we will offer to postpone your wedding to the best and most suitable alternative date but given that events are booked up to 24 months in advance, this will be subject to our availability. Alternatively, you may choose to refuse a postponement and you are entitled to a refund (except the booking fee and any other irrecoverable costs we have incurred in relation to your event.)

In the unlikely event that you have to cancel your event for reasons unrelated to our provision of the services, the cancellation policy will apply:

·       All booking fees are entirely non- refundable.

Should you cancel your event after the date of the halfway payment invoice, a cancellation charge will be applied. The cancellation charge will be dependent upon whether we are able to re-book the venue and whether we sustain a financial loss as a consequence of the rebooking, such as the new wedding being smaller than your wedding and the discount applied to re-sell the date at shorter notice. This will be ascertained no later than eight weeks prior to your original wedding date.

Cancellation charges increase as you get closer to the date of your event because we have incurred more costs associated with your wedding and because the likelihood of rebooking decreases the closer to the wedding date.

As guidance,

·       should you cancel your event with less than 36 weeks before the event, we expect you will be liable for 40% of the total booking value (including venue hire, drinks and add-ons).

·     should you cancel your event with less than 20 weeks before the event, we expect you will be liable for 80% of the total booking value (including venue hire, drinks and add-ons).

·       Should you cancel your event less than 8 weeks before the event you will be liable for 100% of the total booking value (including venue hire, drinks and add-ons).

Cancellation fees are based on the fixed costs of running and maintaining the venue and extensive grounds, any services we are unable to cancel 

- Live flame candles are not permitted, only LED
- Pets are allowed on by prior arrangement 
- We do not allow fireworks or chinese lanterns 
- We don't allow external caterers or external DJ's, both can be arranged 'in house' 
- Amplified music is not permitted in the gardens after 18:00
