Bio

Out of the Box Gifts was born in 2017 following lots of my own ethical gifting. Anytime there was a cause for celebration or a reason to show someone that I was thinking of them, I’d pull together my own ethical vegan gift box - a sweet little package full of personalised treats. I absolutely loved hunting out different ethical small businesses to include in the parcels and thinking of the ways I could give my loved ones a moment to pause and indulge. And so I decided to turn this passion into a living, breathing business. As a mum of three, I’d always daydreamed about creating my own business - something that I could enjoy flexibly around the kids. Out of the Box Gifts was the perfect answer. Now, all those years later, I can honestly say that it’s the best decision I ever made.

UK DELIVERY

Delivery to the UK is free for all orders over £35, these will be sent by Royal Mail 2nd Class, with the option to upgrade to 1st Class (£3.70) or Tracked 24 (£5.50)

Orders under £35 can be sent using the following services:

2nd Class – £3.00 Please allow 3-5 working days for delivery

1st Class – £3.70 Please allow 2-3 working days for delivery

Tracked 24 – £5.50 Orders placed before 12.00 Monday - Friday will be posted same day for delivery the next working day. Orders placed after 12.00 Monday-Friday will be posted the next working day. Orders placed over the weekend will be posted on the following Monday.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY 

We currently don’t offer international delivery as standard, however, if you have a specific request please get in touch via email at hello@outoftheboxgifts.co.uk and we’ll do what we can to help!

RETURNS

Returns
We have a 7 day cooling off policy in line with the UK Distance Selling Regulations set out for all online retailers, beginning on the day after the goods are received.


To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and returned at your cost.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned.

Additional non-returnable items:
Gift cards
Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at outoftheboxgiftsltd@gmail.com.
